Mission and Purpose
Established in 1980, the Chancellor's Staff Advisory Committee (CSAC) serves as a resource for the campus administration and is a confidential committee appointed by the Chancellor. The committee's mission is to provide staff input into the university's decision-making processes including, but not limited to, development and modifications of policies and procedures that directly affect staff. CSAC acts as advisor to the Chancellor and Vice Chancellors on non-bargainable issues, with the aim of helping to create a positive working environment for all staff. Committee priorities are guided by a number of factors, including current and long-term issues and the Chancellor's goals.
