UC Berkeley has a diverse array of staff organizations, each with its own mission and focus. The staff organizations are a collective of associations that offer opportunities for UC Berkeley staff to engage in collective community with others of similar interests.
The officially recognized affiliations are distributed among three distinct categories:

Currently the Staff Organizations and the Communities of Practice are sponsored by Lasana O. Hotep, Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging and Eugene Whitlock, Chief People & Culture Officer. The Special Interest Groups do not require designated sponsorship.
