Mission and Purpose

Established in 1980, the Chancellor's Staff Advisory Committee (CSAC) serves as a resource for the campus administration and is a confidential committee appointed by the Chancellor. The committee's mission is to provide staff input into the university's decision-making processes including, but not limited to, development and modifications of policies and procedures that directly affect staff. CSAC acts as an advisor to the Chancellor and Vice Chancellors on non-bargainable issues, with the aim of helping to create a positive working environment for all staff. Committee priorities are guided by a number of factors, including current and long-term issues and the Chancellor's goals.
