To cultivate a thriving community where project management practitioners across our institution collaboratively advance their craft, share knowledge born from experience, and strengthen the university's capacity to deliver transformative initiatives that serve our academic mission and community.

Goals

Build Community & Advance Careers

  • Foster connection and belonging among project management practitioners across the institution

  • Support skill development for current PMs, aspiring PMs, project leads, and  those who work on projects 

  • Create equitable access to professional development opportunities and career pathways

  • Strengthen networks that cross university departments 

  • Promote inclusive, constructive, and respectful collaboration

Share Knowledge & Enable Growth

  • Exchange lessons learned from project successes and failures

  • Adapt practices to meet the  university’s evolving needs

  • Curate and refine tools, templates, and resources for effectiveness

  • Document institutional knowledge that benefits the broader community

  • Transform individual insights into collective wisdom

Deliver Meaningful Programming

  • Provide targeted training that addresses real skill gaps and needs

  • Establish mentorship programs connecting experienced and emerging practitioners

  • Organize social gatherings that strengthen bonds and create informal learning
