Mission & Purpose

The Cal Women's Network is dedicated to building an inclusive and dynamic community for all who experience life through the lens of a woman—in body, spirit, identity, past, present, future, and fluid. Our mission and purpose are to empower, support, and uplift our members by fostering collective learning, professional advancement, and personal growth. We achieve this by creating meaningful connections, offering enriching opportunities, and championing the diverse experiences that reflect the strength, diversity, and potential of women at Cal.

Goals:

1. Empowerment:

Provide tailored professional development and mentorship programs that equip members with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to pursue leadership roles and achieve their personal and career aspirations. Our goal is to ensure that every member has access to resources and opportunities that empower them to reach their fullest potential.

2. Community:

Build and sustain a welcoming and inclusive community where all members feel a sense of belonging and support. We aim to create an environment where diverse experiences and perspectives are celebrated, and where members can engage in meaningful dialogues, collaborate on initiatives, and support each other's growth.

3. Connection:

Foster strong, lasting connections among members by organizing regular networking events, social gatherings, and collaborative projects. Our goal is to facilitate opportunities for members to build relationships, share experiences, and create a network of support that extends beyond their time at Cal.
